Shop Local | Supporting Independent Businesses

At Beardy Pete’s Shaving Emporium, we are strong advocates of the ‘shop local’ ethos, and believe in supporting other local or independent retailers and service providers.

To that end we stock products not only from such grooming giants as Edwin Jagger and The Bluebeards Revenge, but also from small companies who hand-make their goods with extra love, care and attention. So, if you like to go off-piste with your beard grooming products, take a look at the ranges from our small-batch suppliers, such as The Brighton Beard Company and Balbo Beard Co.

Being a small, independent business we recognise the importance of providing and excellent and friendly service, and developing a good reputation. As with many other businesses like us, we rely heavily on positive recommendations from customers to spread the word about who we are and what we offer. Sharing us on the socials, and reviewing us on Trustpilot or Google would really help, and be greatly appreciated.

To further our support of other small businesses, on this page you will find links to the websites of some we personally like, and that provide great products and/or services.

Some of these are locally-based businesses that only serve the immediate area and therefore may not be relevant to you. Other websites may offer services that can be taken advantage of nationwide. And if you happen to find yourself in the vicinity of one of these places and have the need for something they sell, then please pop in (and let them know where you heard about them).

If we can help generate custom from just one person through this list of independent businesses then we will have achieved the objective of this page.

The wonderful owners of this business are good friends of the Beardy Pete family. Located on the beautiful Isle of Wight, Letterpress Design provides creative and adventurous letterpress and hot foil printing solutions. They offer an impressive design service, and produce exquisite and superior quality bespoke stationary, packaging, invitations, greetings cards and business cards.

Like us, they are a family business who themselves use locally sourced products where possible, and aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible. With years of experience and a catalogue of designs available, if they don’t have quite what you’re looking for they can create it for you. And the end result will be stunning.

Lost Souls Club Clothing

Logo - Lost Souls Club

The Lost Souls Club is a small clothing brand that encourages adventure, breaking away from convention and doing your own thing; travel, explore the world, and don’t become a slave to a job you hate just because society tells you that’s what you should do. The rest of the world might think you’re lost, but you’re just discovering.

Travel-loving ‘millennial’ Esther designs all of the clothing, and wants you to know that it’s okay to not have your entire life mapped out; a sentiment that also resonates with us at Beardy Pete’s Shaving Emporium. So, grow a beard, put on an LSC hoodie, book that trip you’ve always wanted to take, and join Esther’s community of Lost Souls.
